Medical Weight Loss

“Medically Significant” weight loss can have a measurable, positive impact on your health and well being.  Nearly 2/3 of adults in the United States are overweight, which affects basic health and quality of life.  Weight loss helps to decrease your chances of developing health issues such as:

* High Blood Pressure              * High Cholesterol               * Metabolic Syndrome

* Type 2 Diabetes                      * Fertility Issues                  * Gall Bladder Disease

* Sleep Apnea                            * Osteoarthritis                   * Coronary Heart Disease

* Certain Cancers                      *Joint Pain

The best way to approach weight loss is to commit to lifestyle changes that can help you maintain a healthy weight for a lifetime. Making simple lifestyle changes by implementing new healthy habits and breaking old unhealthy habits will result in weight loss that is easier to maintain for life, which will also improve your health and well-being. Key components of weight loss include making healthy diet choices, eating in moderation, and 30 minutes of physical exercise at least 5 times a day.

Some people may benefit from the use of prescription weight loss medication to assist in their journey. While diet and exercise are important for everyone, prescription medications are not. Prescription weight loss medications are usually prescribed only if your BMI is 30 or higher, or at least a BMI of 27 and you have a health condition that may be related to your weight such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. Only a 5 to 10 percent loss of initial body weight has been shown to help improve your health by lowering blood pressure, blood sugar, and triglycerides, which can lead to improvement in conditions related to overweight and obesity.

Prescription weight loss medications work in different ways; some medications help to curb your appetite or feel full sooner, while other medications help by blocking your body’s ability to absorb fat from foods eaten. FDA-approved prescription medications for weight loss include: orlistat (Xenical, Alli), lorcaserin (Belviq), phentermine-topiramate (Qsymia), naltrexone-bupropion (Contrave), and liraglutide (Saxenda)-for long-term use.

Healthy behavior changes along with the use of prescription medications may be beneficial to help some people lose weight. People who use prescription medications along with lifestyle modification on average lose between 3 to 9 percent more of their initial body weight than those only doing lifestyle modification and not using medication to assist with weight loss. Research also shows that 10 percent or more weight loss has been found in some people taking prescription weight loss medications, however results vary by person and medication.

HCG MEDICAL WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Weight loss with HCG is fast, safe and effective. We offer a comprehensive program that is ideal for those that need a boost in weight loss. We offer complimentary consultations to see if you are a good candidate for the program. We provide a strict diet plan and 40 days of HCG injections. HCG injections are the only form of HCG that is proven to raise blood levels of HCG, therefore the pills, drops or sprays dissolve before ever reaching the blood stream. HCG levels raised in the blood stream are essential to losing weight safely and effectively. HCG reduces feelings of hunger allowing you to follow a strict diet comfortably. HCG is a pro-hormone which helps the body make more hormones. Since hormone deficiency or imbalance is usually part of the reason for weight gain, this hormone offers help. HCG injections help to keep you from losing lean muscle while you diet allowing you to lose more pure fat. By elevating hormone levels in the body, including testosterone, HCG creates an anabolic state, (muscle building) which counteracts the muscle breakdown. Muscle allows for a stronger metabolism and helps you maintain weight loss long after the diet is complete.
